Welcome to the home page for the Auckland Embroiderers' Guild

The Auckland Embroiderers' Guild AEG celebrates the art of embroidery and members meet to share their passion, experience and expertise with others.

Check out our Facebook page.    www.facebook.com/AucklandEmbroiderersGuild

We have a Tuesday and Saturday meeting every month and members are welcome to come to either or both meetings.

We have an extensive library of books and magazines related to all types of embroidery.

Have a browse through Treasure Island available at both meetings - our amazing stash of threads, materials, books etc. you can purchase for a small donation.

Tuesday Guild Meeting

This is our monthly formal Guild meeting, on the second Tuesday of the month, and proceedings are minuted in accordance with the Auckland Embroiderers' Guild Constitution.  The Guild rooms are open 30 minutes prior to the meeting ie. 9.30am.

Guild Meeting: 10 – 2.30pm, Guest Speaker then bring your lunch, stay, stitch & chat until 2.30pm.

At all meetings Guild members are encouraged to stitch, though we ask that you do not talk during the meeting.

Saturday Guild Meeting or Mini Workshops

Our rooms are open on the first Saturday of the month 10.00 am to 3.30 pm  bring your lunch, stay, stitch & chat, workshops and guest speakers at some meetings.

Open to all Auckland Guild members and you will generally not have to register, although sometimes there may be a kit cost or we may need to know numbers for the class.   Although the workshops have been free of charge in the past we would now appreciate a gold coin donation to be paid to cover some costs.

The Guild meets at the Textile Arts Centre 25 Poronui St Mt Eden.  See Rooms for a map to find us.

Parking is available in the school carpark from the Disraeli St entrance on Saturdays but please note the gate will be locked at 3.40pm.

Check the Calendar tab for our monthly Tuesday and Saturday meeting dates and upcoming events.
