Out West

We meet on the second Wednesday of the month in at the Corban Estate Arts Centre at 9:30am. We take it in turn to provide morning tea, and spend the morning stitching and chatting. Very relaxed. Occasionally we organise a group activity, but usually we work on our individual projects.

Come once, or come regularly, you will be very welcome.

Contact Jan Richardson, Convenor on 810 9933 or by email for directions.

Tuesday Stay & Stitch

Members are welcome to stay after the Tuesday meeting, which is held on the second Tuesday each month, to join fellow members for a few hours of stitching. If you would like to expand your embroidery day out, stay on and join us for a few hours of stitching and companionship. We have dedicated this year as the “Year to finish the great UFOs”, so if you have anything you would like to get inspired with again, and actually finish it, this is the place to come.  Most of us are happy to be encouraged to complete, or attempt to something we have lost the way with.

If you are so organized, and don’t have any UFOs, you are welcome to continue to stitch on your current project, before it becomes a UFO!

Bring your lunch and stitching, and join us from 12.30 - 2.30pm after the Tuesday General meeting.

For any queries, please phone Heather Stonestreet, ph 6266277

Please be aware that parking is restricted in some areas of Disraeli Street 2.30-3.30pm on school days.  We do not want anyone towed away.

Monday Stitch Group

Join us on Mondays, 12.30-2.30pm in the Guild Rooms 25 Poronui St Mt Eden.

Our Monday group usually stitches together on our own projects. There is enough experience between us to overcome most difficulties. We usually have between four to seven ladies at each session

A group meets three times a year to develop their own contemporary practice in a supportive and encouraging environment.  This informal group is for anyone who wants to take the step from following a pattern or stitching someone else's design to designing their own work. Each meeting members bring whatever they are working on or have completed since the last meeting.
